Simple, Jargon-free Advice
Packaged Bank Accounts can be great, but they can also be useless. If you purchased one based on a rational decision it is likely that the account is right for you but if you were sold one by a pushy sales agent or the terms of the account were not clearly explained you could be owed £1,000s.
What time’s best for you?
Have you got a Packaged Bank Account but don’t have use for all of its features? Or were you told that you had to take out a Packaged Bank Account in order to be approved for an overdraft? Or were you upgraded to a Package Bank Account without agreeing to the upgrade? Or were you sold your Packaged Bank Account by a pushy sales agent? Or have you tried to use the features of your Packaged Bank Account only to find out you are not eligible? If any of these apply to you it is likely that you were mis-sold and could be owed £100’s or even £1,000’s.
We will investigate the terms of your Packaged Bank Account by submitting a Data Subject Access Request to each lender you have had a PBA with. We will analyse your DSAR results to calculate the fees you have paid over the years. We will use this information alongside your answers to our questionnaire to write your complaint.
The lender will have 8 weeks to review our complaint and issue a final response. The final response will detail whether or not the lender is going to uphold our complaint and will contain a breakdown of how they came to their decision. We will review your final decision letter(s) to ensure you are receiving the correct amount for your claim.
