The Department

This department is going through a period of increased growth and deals with the full range of residential conveyancing transactions.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be handling the post completion aspect of purchase transactions and providing support within the department. There is opportunity to progress for the right candidate. This role will be to assist fee earners within the department with their caseload of sale and purchase files from instruction to completion.

Alongside your standard role, you will act as an ambassador for the firm and present a professional image at all times. Our focus is on treating all of our clients and colleagues fairly and with respect, value the diversity of others and work proactively to overcome communication barriers. You will be expected to adhere to safe working practices and to the health and safety policy and departmental procedures. You will also be expected to promote, communicate and support the firm vision and values to all.

The Person

You must be able to work independently and as part of team under supervision, with a keen interest in learning and developing your skills. Ideally you will have at least 6 months experience within residential conveyancing, post completions experience is desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate. You will be:

  • Hard working.
  • Have good time-management skills.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Have a positive attitude as well as an interest in progression within the department.
  • Have good IT skills with a knowledge of the Microsoft package.
  • Have worked with a case management system previously.
  • Have an understanding of the need to deal with clients sensitively and of Data Protection Legislation.
