IFA (Independent Financial Advisor)
Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) follow a strict code of conduct and must adhere to the rules set out by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) whom they are regulated by. They all have a duty of care to their clients so should they pass along advice that you could deem deceiving; you have the grounds to proceed with a claim.
Listed below are the common financial advisers who have mis-sold clients. If you have received advice from any of the listed advisers, it is highly likely you have been given poor advice.
How can we help? Our specialist team will assist you with the assessment of your engagement with your IFA and the situation with your current investments. They will advise you on the most appropriate route for the best possible outcome, whether this be through the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

The requirement for a legal contract isn’t always necessary for ‘duty of care’ to take place. IFA’s must also act independently, meaning they cannot offer you only one scheme without any mention of others.
We are on hand to assess whether your acting IFA was negligent and failed this duty on your behalf. The following are grounds for a claim:
